Sho Wamato ve onun 5. sınıfa giden arkadaşları Takumi ve Makoto dağda (MTB) bisiklete binmekten hoşlanmaktadırlar. Onlar bu yerde artık tanınmaktadırlar. Takumi mekanikte ustayken, Makoto rekabet edilebilinecek bir dişi rakiptir. Bir gün Sho bir MTB takımı olan Shark Tooth ile yarışırler ve siyah bir duman ortaya çıkar ve onlar X-Zone adında başka bir dünyada kendilerini bulurlar. Gerçek dünyalarına geri dönmek için Idaten Battles'ta savaşmalıdırlar. Yarışlar pek çok farklı şekildedir; yanardağ, hayalet şehirleri, çöller ve bir mezarlık bile içerir. Geri dönmek için kazanmak ve 10 tane ablem kazanmak gerekmektedir bunun için de uzun bir yolculuk başlayacaktır...
