FC-60 yılında, insanlığın birçoğu dünyanın yörüngesindeki uzay boşluklarındaki sömürgelerde yaşamaya başladırlar. Sömürgelerdeki egemenliği yöneten, Gundam olarak adlandırılan robotlar tarafından yönetiliyordu ve bu yöneten, 4 yılda bir robotlar arasındaki bir dövüş turnuvasında değişiyordu. Domon Kashuu ise bu turnuvada Yeni Nesil Japonya'yı temsil ediyordu fakat Domon'un tek hedefi ise erkek kardeşini bulmak ve zaferini garantiye almaktı. Domon'un erkek kardeşini bulmak istemesindeki tek nedende; anne ve babasını erkek kardeşinin öldürdüğünü sanıyordu.

Domon Kashuu (Kalplerin Kralı)

Yeni nesil Japonya'nın seçtiği dövüşçüdür. Seçilmesinin tek nedeni 13. Gundam dövüşçüsü olduğu içindir. Bu turnuvayı kabul etmesinin tek nedeni ise erkek kardeşi Kyoji Kasshuu'yu bulmaktı. 12. Gundam dövüşçüsü Asia tarafından eğitildi. Dövüş eğitiminden sonra Asia, Domon'a "Kalplerin Kralı" ünvanını verir. Artık tek hedefi kardeşini ve etkisinde olduğu şeytani gücü bulmayı ve turnuvayı kazanmaktır.

Rain Mikamura

Domon'un teknisyeni ve çocukluk arkadaşıdır. Domon'un robotunu programlar, çeşitli testlere sokar ve turnuva için hazırlar. Domon'u sevmektedir fakat bazen Domon tarafından görmezden geldiğini hisseder. Domon'u sevsede asla duygularını Domon'a açıklayamaz.
