Boyalı Kalem Krallığı'nın insanları her zaman güzel bir gülümsemeyle dolaşan 12 yaşında bir kız olan Prenses Gümüş'i görürler. Yine de onların bilmediği, prensesin 12 kötü alışkanlığı vardır. Bukalemın Başbakan ve Boyalı Kalem bakanları üzülür bu duruma ve eğer ortaya çıkarsa çok mahcup olacaklardır. Prenses Gümüş'ün 12. yaşını kutlamak için bir parti verilir. Prenses, kötü alışkanlıklarını unutarak beyaz atlı prensini aramayı deniyordur. Partide ki oğlanlardan biri çok kızmıştır ve Gümüş'ün ailesi, kral ve kraliçeyi taşa dönüştürür. Gümüş, laneti kaldırmak için büyüyü yapan kişiyi bulmak için yola düşer. Gümüş ve arkadaşlarıyla beraber büyük bir maceraya başlamış olurlar.
